Scholarship Program
In 1936, a group of teachers formed the Big Island Teacher’s Federal Credit Union. It was the first chartered credit union in the Territory of Hawaii. Many years later, as a community Credit Union with an island-wide charter, Big Island Federal Credit Union remains committed to supporting the students and teachers of the Big Island. For over 30 years, the credit union has been recognizing students for their achievements and dedication by offering scholarships.
