Holomua Hawai'i Business and Non-profit Grants

Big Island Federal Credit Union has teamed up with other Hawai'i Island Credit Unions to assist Hawai'i County businesses and non-profit organizations apply for reimbursement grants through the Holomua Hawai'i Program.

Holomua Hawai'i is a reimbursement grant program for costs incurred from business interruption due to the COVID-19 Emergency Proclamation issued on March 23, 2020.  Holomua Hawai'i will distribute up to $22 million in financial assistance from Hawai'i County's CARES Act funding.

From now through December, Hawai'i County businesses and non-profit organizations directly affected by COVID-19 with 50 or less employees can apply for a one-time, unduplicated gap funding up to $10,000 to support core operations, safe on-going and reopening costs, and training and technical assistance.
