Guaranteed Asset Protection

Most auto insurance settlement payments are based on the actual cash value of the vehicle and not the balance owing on the loan. There maybe times when the loan balance may be greater than the value of the vehicle which would result in a deficiency loan balance that the borrower would still be responsible for. For a low cost, GAP will protect you from having to pay this deficiency - covering the "gap" between the value of the vehicle and the loan balance.
